Job Description
About the Job
A Senior Technical Recruiter will be responsible for executing our talent acquisition strategies and initiatives, and for bringing rockstar engineers on board with Magic, Inc. In addition, you will also be responsible for managing the entire engineering recruitment pipeline for the company, working closely with the software engineering team.
Job Description:
- Write and post technical job descriptions
- Develop and implement technical recruitment processes
- Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github
- Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes
- Perform screening calls to analyze applicants’ technical abilities
- Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
- Coordinate with engineering team leaders and manager to forecast department goals and hiring needs
- Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
- Track and monitor recruitment metrics such as Pass Rate, Conversion Rate, etc
- Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with tech and engineering professionals
- Manage and add to the engineering pipeline, occasionally keeping candidates in the Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) database warm
- Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products, and searching new ways and events to recruit engineers and developers for Magic
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 - 4 years of solid recruitment experience handling technical recruitment
- Basic fundamental knowledge of any coding language
- Working knowledge of tech candidate market in the PH
- Experience in any Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or recruitment software
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment
- Experience and knowledge of both inbound and outbound recruitment
- High organizational skills, can work within a tight deadline
- Data-driven, and creative with recruitment strategies
- Takes ownership, self-starter, and a problem solver
- Eager to learn, and willing to train others
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Start-up experience or exposure in corporate-focused recruiting is preferred.
- Flexible hours but can generally work between 9 AM - 6 PM
