Job Description
- Manage every aspect of our newly expanding operation in-country
- Work with the founders & executive teams abroad to turn vision into reality
- Recruit the very best talent in this new market
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers needed
- Represent the company in public (media, conferences, govt meetings, etc)
- Collaborate with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services
- Collaborate with leadership to strategize how best to roll out the product line
- Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development
- Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
- Mentor direct reports, especially in regard to our values and vision
- Taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets
- Agreeing annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plans
- Produce business performance reports, which could be on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Recruit and manage staff, including performance monitoring, and possibly mentoring and training.
Minimum Qualifications
- Notable years of relevant experience in leadership, strategy, operations management, business intelligence
- Working experience in rapidly-growing organizations, technology companies or start-ups is a must
- Strong people management skills and experience leading large teams. You can set the tone for your team and drive towards results, while being empathetic to your teams’ challenges. EQ is a must.
- Analytical Thinking. Data-driven mentality and strong business judgment. Able to roll up your sleeves and analyze the data and pull key insights for your team.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Able to communicate and listen effectively; great written, verbal and presentation skills.
- A creative, solutions-focused approach, with a focus on achieving results.
