What we’re looking for…

We are looking for young and ambitious developers to design and code our websites, from layout to function and according to ever-evolving design specifications. Our goal is to keep building Web-based tools that will help us become better at our job: to tell our clients’ stories in a meaningful way.

Successful candidates will work closely with our project managers, strategists and design team to develop specifications and build code for Web applications aimed at marketing, community building and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling company websites
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

• Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS and Javascript, JQuery and APIs
• Experience developing web applications in frameworks involving PHP, Ruby on Rails.net or similar environment
• Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, with a good working knowledge of SQL
• Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
• Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Photoshop
