Job Description
Under the guidance and supervision ounior f the Senior Graphic Designer and Creative Director, the Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for various internal marketing projects. These activities may include the maintenance of existing assets or the creation of designs for different digital content marketing platforms.
As a Junior Graphic Designer you will join our team of innovative designers who are committed to creating exceptional user experiences through innovative designs. You are expected to showcase your design and technical expertise, work independently and as part of a team, and create, maintain, and update marketing platforms for M2.0 and its affiliates.
As a member of the marketing team, you are expected to adhere to M2.0’s and its affiliated companies' brand and design standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating layouts for case studies
- Performing regular file backups to local directories for recovery
- Designing layouts for blogs or mass mailing campaigns
- Participating in tactical and strategic development projects
- Developing marketing collaterals such as social cards, website assets, pitch decks, and infographics
- Creating wireframes for web pages and email templates
- Working quickly and carefully to complete major projects and small edits requested by other departments
- Developing plans for completing larger projects, collaborating with colleagues, and suggesting new solutions to challenges
- Virtually meeting regularly with business units and other stakeholders in the company to understand the business and refine the design and functional requirements of the website based on the company's growth needs.
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you are expected to:
- Meet deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work output
- Be prepared to redesign and revise the work following feedback
- Encourage and act upon critical feedback in the most appropriate manner
- Welcome coaching from the marketing and the design team as a whole
- Develop mastery of design by continuously seeking ways to improve your work
- Consult and follow the advice from the Creative Director on design-related revisions
- Maintain an active interest in the communications, design, and storytelling practice as a whole
- Actively participate in team activities like learning groups, meetings, brainstorming, and story conferences
- Coordinate and collaborate with the marketing manager, other writers, and the design team to complete content development.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Communication Arts, Advertising, or any related courses
- 1-2 years of experience in design work is a plus
- Reliable, responsive, and open to learning new things
