Job Description

M2.0 Communications, Inc. is a public relations and digital marketing agency that aims to connect organizations with their audiences through compelling, data-driven narratives. We are looking for an Account Manager to serve as the digital caretaker of brands within the business unit, representing the agency before the client and spearheading key projects implemented in partnership with community managers, creatives, strategic planners, and business leads. As part of the client success team, you will be working with some of the most talented people in the industry in an environment that fosters continuous learning and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the client-service philosophy point of service
  • Ensure team members provide top quality work that meet up to expectation of the clients
  • Understand and relay business need of clients to the organization and other members of the team in an easily understandable manner
  • Guarantee account profitability
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Assist in creating the digital strategy for your clients
  • Advocate for the client to ensure that we’re not just checking off boxes in a task manager, but instead moving them forward and reaching their objectives (we call this Remarkable ROI)
  • Note: You’re not responsible to bring in new clients (this is not a sales position). You are responsible to keep and grow your clients with Remarkable Client Experiences, Remarkable Excellence, and Remarkable ROI.
  • Be available to clients for strategic PR counsel
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrated marketing, reputation management, and branding.
  • Think creatively about client account management towards developing creative ideas and relay such creative ideas and thoughts to the client
  • Get informed about latest PR technology in preparation for opportunities to apply such in fulfilling goals of the organization and its clients
  • Show full commitment to clients, agencies, and industries
  • Have good mastery of industry trends and knowledge, along with full understanding of clients’ needs.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Tracking, measuring, and analyzing key account metrics such as customer conversion rates, impression shares, average order value, and cost-per-click is vital to optimizing digital campaigns from an ROI perspective.
  • To ensure accountability and gain valuable insights into what is working and what isn’t, digital account managers are typically required to report on digital advertising campaign performance on a monthly, weekly, and sometimes daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications

The following abilities, knowledge, and skills are typically required for PR account managers to succeed in their job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related studies, like journalism, communications, and public relations and/or digital marketing
  • Advanced degree and participation in workshops in related fields
  • Possess unquestionable leadership skill
  • Possess experience in working with agencies
  • Have good understanding regarding account leadership, client service, and public relations works
  • Possess flawless writing, communication, and editing skills
  • Possess passion for digital and traditional communications
  • Ability to create balance between plan execution and strategic thinking
  • Possess top-level interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to motivate colleagues and clients alike
  • Ability to think independently
  • Possess top-level skill in time management
  • Possess high-level organization and accountability skills
