Market Research Specialist  

Specific Market Research

• Performs market research on aircraft operators and competitors through internet research as well as aviation news and on-site visits/research.
• Attends Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) conferences and study market news in order to identify current and future trends of the MRO business.
• Develops and maintains filling of information into a market database.
• Prepares and keeps up to date market research summaries and profiles of major customers and competitors.
• Actively reports safety hazards and incidents in the tasks he/she performs.
• Complies with the established safety rules requirements.

Lean:

• Develops lean improvement methodology skills and applies these in support of lean Teams and initiatives. He or she provides recommendation of data to be collected, data preparation, analysis and assist in interpretation, to aid in lean improvement
• Conducts workshops to provide focused improvement opportunities to increase production efficiencies, eliminate waste, reduce inventory, reduce lead times, increase quality and improve performance
• Utilizes value stream mapping to identify and eliminate waste as well as evaluate potential changes in work flow to maximize production efficiencies
• Develops proposals and implement methods improvement studies on process simplification, combination and elimination
• Conducts the necessary trainings on lean basics, project management, and presentation skills.
• Coaches process improvement projects and realizing lean processes across different departments.

• College graduate, preferably Engineering or Business Management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in aviation, market research, methods analysis, use of statistical tools & techniques.
• Lean & Six Sigma training and experience a big plus.
• Systematic problem-solving skills, project management & people skills required.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, esp. MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio.
