Job Description
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be tasked with:
- managing all costs related the the building project, from canvassing of cost effective sources of materials, to calculating final figures
- prepare estimates to make sure that the budget is sufficient for each stage of construction
- uphold standards and quality in the project with an eye on the budget
- managing contractual side of construction;
- manage progress of the project; oversees deadlines are met
- draw up working agreements with suppliers and vendors
Minimum Qualifications
As part of the Loc&Stor 24/7 team, we are looking for someone who possesses:
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- has good team coordination skills; able to coordinate between suppliers, construction company, laborers and management
- the values of honesty, integrity and responsibility
- good work ethic, can work independently, is dependable
