Job Description
Regular and Special Audit
- Conducts both regular and special audit
- Prepares audit plan
- Conducts risk assessment
- Determines specific audit approaches to be used in audit
- Performs detailed audit field work
- Discuss audit findings with the concerned department head
- Prepares audit report
- Discusses audit report with the CEO
- Monitors progress and compliance on implemented recommendations
- Discusses result to the CEO
Internal Control
- Ensures internal controls in the company are adequate to deter, prevent and detect fraud
- Ensures company resources are safeguarded at all times
- Implements tight control on cash management
- Reviews and redesigns internal controls to address changing risk situations
- Ensures company policies and standard procedures are implemented and working properly and consistently
- Assesses and manages internal and external risks
- Prepares assessment report and discusses risk exposures and recommendations with the CEO
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or any related course
- Possesses high degree of integrity and professionalism
- Adhere to high ethical standards
- Exercises 100% independence
- Must be a CPA
- With at least 5 years auditing experience 2 years of which are in senior audit position
- Highly organized
- Ability to work independently with very minimal supervision
- Must have excellent skill in handling complete audit program which includes audit planning, audit risk assessment, audit field work, preparation of audit report and discussion of audit findings and recommendations with the Board
- With full knowledge and understanding of and abreast of the changes in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- With excellent knowledge of audit standards, concepts and procedures
- Highly analytic and objective problem solver with keen attention to details
- A good communicator, both oral and written
- Can handle work under pressure
- Has ability to train and coach others
- Willing to travel to work sites and work beyond normal schedule as necessary
