- Be responsible for overall implementation of accounting operations in the company.
- Do Accounting record keeping and data entry of accounting systems making use of an accounting computer software.
- Reconcile expenses, accounts payables, and receivables.
- Be responsible for daily banking tasks (deposits and withdrawals).
- Assist the Accounting Manager with maintaining books of account and subsidiary ledgers.
- Ensure that necessary books of accounts like cash book, ledger are prepared.
- Compile and record the sales and accounts receivable statements.
- Prepare bank payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and journal vouchers.
- Be responsible for the cost allocation of accounts and expenses.
- Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding, matching of invoices, and supporting receipts.
- Provide financial information monthly and quarterly to management by analyzing accounting data and sales reports.
- Meets accounting financial objectives by:
- Forecasting requirements.
- Preparing an annual budget.
- Scheduling expenditures.
- Analyzing variances.
- Initiating corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's/College degree or a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional Lic ense Exam) in a Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or its equivalent.
- Licensed CPA is an advantage but not required.
- At least 1 year of work experience in the related field.
- Preferably 1-4 years of experience specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or its equivalent.
- Solid math skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills.
- Sharp attention to details.
- Flexible, excellent communicator, and energetic.
