- Attend client meetings with sales and design team when the project requires an Events Stylist. Participate in design meetings when necessary and requested. Deliverables to the final design presentation may include visual presentations, design briefs and budget
- Liaison and maintain healthy relationshipss with industry planners, venues and supporting vendors
- Performs the physical role of event stylist on site
- Create as a visual artist by placing and arranging specialty items at event site. This may require some knowledge of rigging and use of ladders 12ft and taller or scissor lift
- Manage small specialized jobs. The role may be responsible for the Event Stylist to manage and execute small to midsized jobs onsite
- Assist in maintenance of inventory ; as well as understand the buying process to insure long shelf life of rental products
- Responsible for the event styling installs and removals, as well as ensuring all props are successfully put back into inventory
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent
- Instinctively creative and design oriented
- Must be flexible in working hours, available days, evening, overnight and weekends including some holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface wih clients, sales team, designers and vendors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Possess exceptional organization skills
- Able to work autonomously and work efficiently to strict deadlines
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Very strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly
- Background in display, interior design, floral design, set dressing
- Experience working in sales
- Must be able to climb heights of 12ft and up
