Job Description
Tax Supervisor
- Supervises daily, monthly, quarterly and annual compliance through recording, documentation, filing and payment of all taxes of LCMC and selected subsidiaries.
- Updates management every month on the status of tax cases, assessments and examinations based on Letter of Authority or Tax Verification of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs) examinations.
- Conducts tax planning and study, regularly checks tax remedies available for tax avoidance and cost-savings.
- Attends to audit of BIR for all internal revenue taxes and tax refund claims, LGUs for business tax audits, as well as internal and external auditors.
- Conducts research on new tax issuances, regulations, rulings and pronouncements, and discuss items applicable to the company with all affected employees.
- Recommends improvements or changes in the accounting system for the implementation of new tax issuances, regulations, rulings and pronouncements.
- Monitors and evaluates performance of subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- At least 5 years of work experience in the related field
