Job Description
As a VP Engineering with Lemonilo, your main responsibilities would be:
- Work with the co-founders to develop the vision and strategy for the platform, web, and mobile applications to reach business goals.
- Architect and develop the platform, web, and mobile applications.
- Recruit, lead and mentor a world-class engineering team.
- Participate as a key decision-maker in all aspects of the business.
- Handle complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques in order to deliver business goals across teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or scientific field. Software engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering work experience, experience as software engineering manager/director or similar role is a plus.
- Experience with complex algorithms and fundamental computer science problems.
- Experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale systems design experience.
- Hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
- Hands-on programming experience in one of the following: JavaScript (node.js, React), PHP, Java.
