Job Description
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently support the delivery of career transition programs (individual or group), leadership development, and change management solutions. The primary purpose of this job is to oversee the delivery and implementation of programs and solutions by coordinating external and internal point of contacts. This role will require someone that can work both autonomously and with a team in delivering innovative transition solutions.
Core responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Oversee individual clients undergoing career transition support and monitor their progress base on program standards;
- Facilitate workshops and related learning interventions, progressing over time from relatively simple and uncomplicated parts to the more challenging ones;
- Coordinate with external and internal contacts on all requirements for delivering the services of the different programs and work with them in accordance with agreed-upon norms, standards, and timelines;
- Support and assist consultants/facilitators on all pre-, during- and post-requirements for all program activities; including preparation of all necessary manuals, handouts, materials, equipment, and other needs for the successful conduct of activities, workshops, and focus sessions;
- Promote, generate interest, perform outreach and engagement tasks; and facilitate the enrolment and access of clients in all services and activities of the program;
- Coach clients on accessing the array of resources available to them on the internet, online resources (both LHH proprietary and non-proprietary resources), library and other sources of information;
- Ensure smooth interpersonal relationships between clients, candidates and the LHH staff by demonstrating the values, norms and excellence standards of the LHH service delivery;
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s/College Degree, preferably psychology, human resources, social science course, education, business administration, or communication
- 3-5 years’ experience in HR, training, management, or related work
- Excellent interpersonal skills; can establish and maintain relationship with individuals from all levels of an organization
- A team player that can develop and maintain strong professional relationships across and outside the organization; ability to work collaboratively with internal and external clients.
- Effective communication and influencing skills, both written and oral, with the ability to clearly and concisely share information and ideas with a range of audiences.
- Ability to handle pressure and high volume of work while maintaining high quality of service delivery
- Excellent problem-solving skills, resourceful and able to work independently, flexible “can do” attitude and approach to the work.
- Ability to work within a team with strong collaboration skills; but also able to work independently
- A positive, flexible approach and attitude
- Ability to work in an agile environment, delivering to tight timeframe across multiple projects
- Possesses basic coaching and counseling skills
- Highly proficient in the use of basic computer and MS Office application
