Job Description
- Web and software development
- Front end and back end development; integrating functionality with good UI/UX design
- Troubleshooting website issues and bugs (including weekends or potentially out of hours in case of major bugs) – via JIRA
- Maintain availability and responsiveness in case of emergency
- Managing site security (AWS, VPN, Server Access and Configs)
- Constantly improving and upgrading the site
- Suggest and introduce new features
Minimum Qualifications
- Self starter: motivated and able to work independently
- Creative thinker: able to solve problems by thinking laterally
- Team player: willing to work collaboratively
- Has working knowledge of Ruby on Rails, HTML, PHP, Java and CSS
- Has experience trouble-shooting website issues and bugs
- Has experience designing RESTful APIs
- Some front-end HTML experience
- Willing to work on a short-term project (2-3 months)
