Job Description

Job Overview

As the Social Media Manager for leading forex education and training specialist Learn to Trade, you will play a key role in the communications and marketing strategy for the business, promoting the brand, managing reputation and supporting people to engage with the organization and book onto our courses.

You will be the central point of contact for the reactive social media strategy and best practice development, with a focus on enhancing the company’s online reputation and effective management of all active approaches on social media.

This role will collaborate with both the communication and marketing team globally to use social media to support various objectives for reputation, branding and audience engagement.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in monitoring, measuring and enhancing online reputation, as well as managing social media programs. Together with the team you will build relationships and communicate with people through our social media channels, managing multiple channels at one time. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining timely, high-quality communications with consumers via branded social media platforms.

The role will also deliver high-quality reputation management for all online review websites mentioning the organization, be responsible for monitoring brand sentiment online, identifying trends and ensuring the organization is aware of what is being said about the business globally.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building, developing and leading a global social media team
  • Identifying actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence team strategy through effective communication
  • Cross management of social media channels across all regions the business operates
  • Developing high-quality engagement and reactive replies to marketing adverts leading to increased bookings, managed negative posts, increasing brand awareness all to foster trust and positioning the company as the leader in forex education
  • Use social listening to discover engagement opportunities, including users indirectly engaging with our brand (i.e. non-mentions) or users talking about topics relevant to the brand
  • Track and work with the Chief Communications Officer to pull together reports on team activity and analyze analytics to gain insight on the effectiveness of business strategy and content
  • Manage social media analytics, tagging/tracking and reporting for ongoing enhancements to social media strategy and tactic
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and engage targeted online communities and audiences.
  • Manage all review sites mentioning the business, to monitor and responds to online comments and reviews to enhance customer experience and improve online ratings.
  • Close working with the complaints manager to understand the concerns and issues people raise online and respond in the best possible way
  • Work closely with the client services team to ensure the highest level of customer service

Minimum Qualifications

Regular Employment Qualification and Passing Standards

Your work performance shall be evaluated on your 3rd and 5th months of employment. You should understand, however, that during your 6-month probationary period, your work performance can be evaluated at any time after hiring and within the probationary period with particular reference to the

following qualification standards:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field
  • Experienced in marketing, communications or social media management
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing social media channels
  • 1 or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Experienced in social media platform analytics (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), Google Analytics and using digital metrics to refine and optimize content to support business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work multiple shifts including days, overnights, weekends and holidays as this social media center is 24/7, 365 days a week
  • Competent organizer

  • Follow instructions, procedures, and processes in relation to your work;
