Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Office-based but can be considered in semi-remote setup
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Creates PO using Stocky app
- Submitting original (signed copy PO) with the original PR to Accounting for payment purposes. End to end Purchase Policy.
- Follow up’s delivery with suppliers and update PR / PO monitoring
- Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and Suppliers documents when there are discrepancies
- Monitors data management to keep accurate and up-to-date product, stock levels, pricing and document information.
- Effectively plan the weekly and monthly order. Ensures that stocking levels are within acceptable limits prior to re-order point.
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
- Prepare and process short and long-term buying decisions as needed to meet orders.
- Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results.
- Support supplier relationships. Work with external vendors to establish and maintain visibility to supplier capacity and performance, resolve any discrepancies, track orders, confirms lead times and delivery dates.
- Continuously seeks improvement. Initiate, contribute, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Able to demonstrate attention/discipline to detail and strict adherence to timelines.
- Maintains strong working relationships with our vendors
- Supports warehousing operations as needed
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends with competitor.
- Join Daily Huddle with the management
- Willing to go an extra mile to meet team objectives
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. SAP, Shopify or similar)
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct a cost analysis
- Negotiation skills
- Very Organized and a good communicator
- BSC in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
