JOB SUMMARY : The Houseman creates an experience for hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.
OPERATIONS
- Provides professional and courteous service at all times
- Cleans and maintains all public areas in guest room hallway, storage areas and administrative areas
- Shift furniture in public areas
- Polish all brassware, metalwork and furniture in public areas and polishes
- Clean all doors, windows and ventilators
- Clean firefighting equipment
- Clean the shafts and terraces
- Clean chandeliers, draperies and other hard to reach areas in public areas
- Clean outside areas including porte cochier and other arrival areas
- Vacuums floors
- Removes and dispose trash
- Office cleaning
- Report any items in need of repair
- Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room
- Perform their work in a safe manner
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
- Refurnishes areas with supplies as required
- Maximize job efficiency and neat, orderly appearance by maintaining supply cart / trolley and vacuum cleaner
- Checks that cart / trolley is fully equipped with the necessary linens, cleaning supplies and guest amenities
- Stocks supply cart / trolley correctly
- Replaces and / or empties vacuum cleaner bag daily
- Cleans cart and vacuum cleaner on a regular basis
MINI BAR INVENTORY
- Ensures completeness of all mini bar items daily
- Checks mini bar consumption
- Replenishes consumed items
- Submits RA worksheet and summary of mini bar sales to Housekeeping Department
Minimum Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATION
Education : Vocational or other technical school, with NC2 certificationcertification, training or apprenticeship beyond high school
Work : Minimum of 2 years’ prior hospitality experience required
Pre-requisites : Able to cope with the physical demands of the job – moving, lifting, carrying and bending is involved; understands basic English language both written and oral
Location : Willing to be assigned in Makati city
Benefits : Full-time position with competitive salary; entitled with HMO upon regularization and (5) five SIL yearly
