Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in overseeing housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent guest experience. Service all public areas as allocated. Monitors housekeeping high standard is maintained at all times with regards to cleanliness, tidiness, co-operation and guest liaison within the building.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping as identified by the building brand standards
2 Responsible for the efficient and orderly management of cleaning, servicing and repairing of all public areas
3 Performance of regular inspections and spot checking of offices, event areas, activity areas, restrooms, and other common public areas
4 Check periodical stocktaking and maintaining of stock records for chemicals, housekeeping supplies, and equipment
5 Ensure communication meetings are conducted
6 Cooperating & communicating with other departments in all building related matters
7 Attending and conduct daily pre-shift briefings
8 Prepare staff schedules and duty roster
9 Monitor grooming and appearance standards and conduct of staff
10 Develops housekeeping training sessions and upkeep all training forms used
11 Training the new hires according to the Housekeeping Manual
12 Assist other departments whenever necessary
13 Attend to any guest complaints and take service recovery measures if required
14 Meeting guests to ensure that they are comfortable and have everything they need
Minimum Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATION
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Building and Restaurant Management; Tourism, or any related course
Work: Must have at least (3) years of experience with Supervisory or Management in Housekeeping Operations
Pre-requisites: Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills, Proficiency, at a basic level, with computers and Microsoft Office; Knowledge of cleaning standards, cleaning chemicals and equipment and materials as necessary; With BOSH Certificate is a PLUS
Location: Willing to be assigned in Makati
