Canvasing Clerk | Ortigas | LHH  

JOB SUMMARY: Support business and purchasing department activities by canvassing food/non-food, technical/non-technical materials and construction materials. Providing administrative support and maintaining records throughout the procurement process.

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Canvass materials and negotiate for the property through approved vendors (at least 5 suppliers)
2 Establish, manage and maintain supply levels for the property
3 Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
4 Search competitive suppliers that can supply quality materials at low cost and maintain suppliers database using the company canvass sheet
5 Consults catalogs and interview suppliers to obtain prices and specifications
6 Creates canvass order and coordinates with at least 3 suppliers for the submission of a table of quotation and offers
7 Runs reports to help determine needs on a daily basis (every afternoon) of the Top 3 suppliers
8 Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: With College or Bachelor’s Degree of Finance / Accountancy / Banking / Business Studies / Management or equivalent
Work: Must have at least (2) years of experience in the related field
Pre-requisites: Above average negotiation skills; highly analytical and must have assertive personality; Good communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in MS Office

Location: Willing to be assigned in Ortigas
