Job Description

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant job roles is to conduct a screening, interviewing and ensure that placing of workers will be timely delivered according to manpower needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with the Department Managers needs.
  • Builds applicant resources by placing job advertisements, researching and contacting Public Employment Services Office thru Government Municipality (PESO Offices) Colleges/University, Third Party Provider, Social Media (FB Group job sites), Lay Bare website, Oh Radio and other recruitment efforts from time to time or when necessary.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements/description.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Ensure that employee prior contract signing should have complete requirements.
  • Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing employment, new hire orientation.
  • Coordinates with the HR Manager, Personnel pertaining to employee discipline memos and other related matters.
  • Submits recruitment, statistics reports of all new hires 2x a month every 1sth and last week of the month or when required.
  • Preparation of training contract/employment contact, bond agreements, regularization notice and other related contracts pertaining to employment.
  • Monitoring of employee performance: Release and issuance of Performance evaluation form every 3rd and 5th of the month.
  • Monitors employment contracts. Ensure that employee will be endorsed to Benefits and Compensation Assistant for (HMO/Accident Insurance).
  • Prepares, submits to HR Manager Personnel Action Memo (PAM) pertaining to salary change/promotion and other related or employment movement when needed or upon advice of the concerned department.
  • Conducts exit interview to all separated employees.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or its equivalent.
  • Must have a strong background in the same field as a recruitment specialist.
  • Keen to details, self-starter and above average written and oral communications skills.
  • Results oriented, possess leadership skills, highly motivated and personable.
  • Willing to start immediately.
