Senior Android Developer  

kumu is looking for a Senior Android Developer to lead the growing mobile app development team. The team needs an experienced leader who is confident in bringing industry best practices along with a trusted tool kit full of app launch experiences and app architecture do’s and don’ts

As Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for the overall stability and scalability of the app, along with developing the skill sets for the current Android dev team. The team will be relying on your practical guidance to assess feasibility of features. You will also be the number one go-to guy for troubleshooting platform-specific issues.

To be successful at this role, the team needs you to have the following:

• Minimum 5 years Android developer experience.
• Graduate of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Has experience leading or advising technical teams.
• Experienced with code review sessions.
• Highly proficient in Android, Kotlin and Java.
• Knowledgeable on software development life cycle.
• Has very meticulous coding skills.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experienced with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Has a working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Experience in app memory management, multithreading, networking & Security, a HUGE plus!
