Data Scientist  

We are looking for junior and senior data scientists to create scalable solutions to personalize each user experience and increase overall customer love.

As a Data Scientist in Kumu, you’ll be at the forefront of using advanced quantitative models and experimentation techniques on big data.

• Rapid experimentation by building prototypes using classic and/or emerging algorithms.
• Deploy your tested models into production.
• Analyze and evaluate the performance of the algorithms and craft succeeding iterations based on the results.
• Apply the company’s A/B testing framework.
• Work closely with other data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers and other product teams.

• Candidates must have experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, Data Management
• Candidates must have coding experience in languages such as Python and SQL.
• Candidates must have a good understanding of relational databases, preprocessing techniques, and statistical modelling.
• Candidates must possess general understanding on a variety of machine learning techniques (e.g. clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Candidates must be passionate about the role of experimentation in improving the company’s potential as a data-driven organization.
• Is an advantage for experience and expertise in the following fields: recommendation engines, computer vision, anomaly detection, natural language processing, and/or text mining.
• Is an advantage for experience in processing data and building ML models at scale using distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Spark) and ML pipelining (e.g. ML Flow, Kubeflow).
