The Web Developer will be responsible for writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices, creating websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS and working closely with web designers and API developers to produce the website.
The Web Developer will also be in constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe
The Web Developer will further be researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation, implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down and maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built.
Managing a team might also be part of the job role and performing other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- The candidate must have at least 3 years' experience in Software/Web Development, performing Coding and including Support & Maintenance work. While experience in Design is not required but an advantage.
- Strong analytical, planning and troubleshooting skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Relevant experience with the following Software/Web Development technologies:
- PHP, HTML, CSS
- Web Service API
- Yii or Laravel Framework or similar technologies
