Job Description
Our web dev team needs additional muscle!
We are on the lookout for reliable, disciplined, and talented developers to help create and maintain web products.
You should be able to:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Creating websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Working closely with web designers and API developers to produce the website.
- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe.
- Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation.
- Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built.
- Managing a team might also be part of the job role.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of web dev experience - strong PHP MVC framework skills like Yii2.
- Clear understanding and hands-on experience in building websites like PHP, HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Experience with version control or source code repository tools like BitBucket or GitHub.
- Basic understanding of server operations.
- Clear understanding of the software development life cycle (exposure to Agile is a plus!)
- Hands-on experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Knowledgeable in different design patterns.
