As a teacher assistant, you would be tasked to handle students with different ages using the Kumon Method. Since we focus on individual learning and independence, you will not be asked to handle a "class" but instead act as a guide for students to answer their own worksheets, manage their time in the center and assist the Chief Instructor with other supplemental work needed for the Center.
You will be joining a closely-knit team, as all of our teachers and assistants put the care of our students above all else, and have been with the center for years. Competitive salary, Health and Leave benefits as well as several bonuses are awarded for excellent performances.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education background is a plus
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills

The Kumon Method of Learning began out of a father’s love for his son. In 1954, Toru Kumon, a high school math teacher in Japan, created handmade worksheets for his son to steadily develop his calculation skills.
