- Monitor market trends, compile cargo related statistical information, and carry out market pricing through various contacts such as airlines and service providers..
- Assist the Pricing Manager – Airfreight in handling pricing strategy (ad-hoc rates / spot rates / promotional pricing etc)
- Generate reports to take timely pricing and revenue optimization actions.
- Support and provide the best rates to various RFQ’s develop potential clients and the pricing structure.
- Assist to plan, develop, direct and control cargo services to maintain, develop and promote Kuehne+Nagel brand.
- Conducts a continuous study of all routes and keep the GM-Airfreight informed of new rates’ development.
- Coordinate with corresponding departments to ensure all agreements (SOP’s/contracts/etc) are updated.
- Maximize revenue on each shipment, develop sales network and pricing structure
- Participate in Airfreight Department staff meetings, airline rates’ discussions and other meetings related to the job description.
- Maintain and update the rates for all products, solutions and services for the airfreight Department.
- Maintain rates and data accuracy in KN System
- Promote KN Product
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in freight forwarding, specifically in Multi National company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Proficient in MS Office application
- Applicants must be willing to work in Pasay City.
