Job Description:

The Leader of Software Development Engineer in Test squad is responsible for creating a test-driven culture resulting in high quality products delivered to market on time that drive the highest levels of customer satisfaction and internal productivity. This is a leadership role that will assist or together with the Head of Quality Engineering to influence and leverage resources across the company to meet quality goals. Use your deep and broad technology, methodology and quality skills to define and drive the overall quality agenda.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements provided by Product Managers, understand the specifications and technical design documents and provide feedback
• Lead and coach the quality team to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and cases
• Estimate , prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Identify, record, document and track bugs
• Perform root cause analysis on complex integrated systems
• Identify test gaps and drive requirements for new test tools and test frameworks

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology
• Minimum 3 years working experience in the related field
• Tactical leadership with a track record of customer focused delivery. Must be a 'change agent' in terms of shifting engineering culture toward quality first.
• Experience in managing and mentoring quality engineering team that span across scrum squad.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and broad range of programming language (eq. mocha cai, espresso, appium, etc)
• Solid knowledge of automated test scripting
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
