Job Description
- Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow instance and CMDB and all integrations with 3rd party platforms including ScienceLogic
- Lead or provide expertise in the design and development engagements on how ServiceNow meets the Business/IT needs for a growing Managed Services Provider (may include transformational IT initiatives such as Enterprise Service Management, application consolidation, cloud automation, IT Operations Management, IT as a Service)
- Understand the detail behind the ServiceNow architecture and platform and present recommendations that will improve the business operations and processes
- Understand and communicate agile software development on the ServiceNow platform and integrations with 3rd party frameworks and platforms
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology or other relevant field
- ServiceNow Systems Administrator Certification
- 4 years IT experience
- Expert knowledge in the ServiceNow platform, preferably with extensive experience in the Service Catalog administration and development
- Extensive experience and knowledge on different ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, etc
- Extensive ServiceNow Service Catalog experience and skills are a MUST
- Expertise in Scripting in the ServiceNow platform using Javascript, GlideRecord, Angular.JS, Jelly, HTML, CSS including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, etc
- Ability to both configure and deliver solutions in the ServiceNow platform
- Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
- Experience in implementing and integrating enterprise software applications with ServiceNow
- Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SOAP, SCP, FTPS
- Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation
- Experience working with IT Management and Monitoring tools such as ScienceLogic.
