Job Description
- Acts as the Disaster Recovery Subject Matter Expert and single point of contact for the entire organization
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for our Disaster Recovery program along with clear and detailed process maps based on collected business requirements
- Produce all related documentation and provide training on Disaster Recovery procedures to employees as needed
- Work directly with Business Unit leaders to ensure requirements are captured in all BCP plans
- Integrate activities with the Business Continuity Program to facilitate risk assessments with business units, and evaluate potential threats to business viability, information security, recovery, and physical security as they relate to Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery
- Responsible for all Disaster Recovery test planning, test coordination, and execution of annual testing
- Acts as a coordinator during an emergency situation and assists recovery support and business resumption during disaster response and alternate operating strategies
- Works with vendors of disaster recovery services and facilities; studies and recommends technologies and services for use during a disaster situation
Minimum Qualifications
- ITIL certification preferred
- Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred
- Ability to Solution and Design DR environments with little direction
- Working knowledge of typical functional areas within an organization and the ability to develop a clear understanding of the company’s key functional processes and resources.
- Good project management skills. Ability to plan, organize and direct the testing of emergency response, recovery support, and business resumption procedures.
- Strong customer-facing skills to interface with staff at all levels within the organization
