QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • College graduate (preferable in BS/BA Psychology, HR Management, Organizational Development, or General Science)
  • Generally, 5 or more years progressively responsible experience as a Human Resources Manager with experience in associate relations, learning and development, problem and conflict resolution and recruiting non-exempt personnel in a high-volume environment
  • Experience in business process outsourcing is required
  • Effective leader who can motivate and inspire by mandating and executing on vision and goals for the department and the company
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, flexibility, diversity, customer service orientation, leadership/coaching skills and team building abilities are essential

PERSONAL SKILLS & QUALITIES

  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing others
  • Extensive knowledge of general labor policies, laws and practices including discrimination and harassment
  • Prior experience delivering HR training and development programs
  • Demonstrated success in conducting behavioural interviews and management talent assessments. Experienced in leading positive change
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills including verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, facilitation skills and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem solving/consulting skills
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects/tasks
  • Good PC skills with demonstrated ability to use a variety of software packages including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to assimilate, present and analyze data as needed
  • Ability to serve as an associate advocate while balancing the needs of the clients and the company
  • Ability to provide superior service to associates by listening, comprehending and guiding them through the issue to closure
  • Confidentiality and professionalism is critical
  • Open-minded, trustworthy, compliance-oriented, yet solution focused and team-oriented
Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

  • Is a key Satellite Office ‘Culture Agent’ for building and setting the professional, quality driven, and friendly culture, which is focused on continuous improvement
  • Acts as a leader, providing guidance and counsel to the operations management team as well as clients
  • Has a strong working knowledge of the Philippines Labor Code and is able to resolve complex labor issues in a clear, solution focused manner that achieves positive outcomes for the Employer / Client, while being legally compliant
  • Manages all Human Resources policies and programs with clear communication, ensuring compliance with Philippines Labor Code and Satellite Office policy
  • Responsible for developing and supporting retention initiatives by executing programs developed to improve employee culture, morale and attrition
  • Manages, coaches, and develops the site HR team and serves as a mentor to other HR professionals
