Job Description

Role:

  • As a Business Development Officer in KIBU Design Concepts, Inc., you shall perform as an on-field sales professional who is highly motivated to learn and increase business along with identifying new business opportunities.
  • Reports to the Managing Partner/COO and Sales & Marketing Manager
  • External relationships: Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, Developers, new key businesses and private homeowners
  • Internal relationships: Managing Partner/COO, Sales & Marketing Manager, Sales Team and Admin Team

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the acquisition of new clients and hit monthly sales quotas.
  • Maintain current clients through on-site needs assessment
  • Create proposals, quotations and agreement/contracts
  • Generate pipeline sales and activity reports
  • Provide sales presentations, including the closing of all sales inquiries and opportunities
  • Develop contract product sales by focusing on new business opportunities, dormant accounts and large projects identified or assigned by management
  • Saturate the local market, present solutions, manage customer relationships and coordinate with other staff as necessary to complete sales

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Mondays to Saturdays

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a proven excellent track record in sales and must possess good customer service and time management skills. He/She should be results-oriented and a self-starter. A strong drive to succeed, an entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of urgency are a must. In addition, the candidate should be dynamic, highly motivated and organized.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of direct selling experience in the construction, design, finishing and fit-out materials, or furniture industry
  • Any sales experience in tiles, flooring, wood decking, glass, mirrors, ceiling, aluminum windows and doors, or LED lighting is a plus)
  • Excellent customer service and customer responsiveness
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong administrative follow-up and follow-through
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint
