Job Description
- Manage and oversee procurement in sourcing, market research and analysis, negotiating and buying assigned commodities and ensuring supply stability, competitive price, and consistent quality and on time delivery considering the cost of ownership in support of the company’s cost and efficiency program.
- Perform sourcing of possible substitute of materials/items by establishing new materials sources to ensure continuous supply of materials.
- Proactively manage supplier relationship to ensure their continuing support and cooperation.
- Prepares purchase orders on behalf of the company.
- Creates and maintains purchasing files and price list.
- Track deliveries and ensure the receipts of materials/items are exactly same as ordered.
- Negotiate submitted quotations from accredited suppliers to have better pricing.
- Ensure sustainable partnership through selection of best fit partners and through regular conduct of operations and business review.
- Accreditation of suppliers and vendor management.
- Perform other duties as maybe assigned from time to time as instructed by immediate superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years related experience
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
