Job Description
- Perform variety of general accounting tasks in an accounting department
- Responsible in allocation, budgeting and recording of petty-cash used for emergency purposes and transportation allowances of the management department.
- Reconciles a wide variety of financial data for the purpose of maintaining accurate account balances and ensuring compliance with established accounting practices.
- Maintains a wide variety of financial information, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance within established practices
- Process and monitor accounts payables and receivables as needed.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and/or records.
- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g. disbursements, expense, vouchers, receipts, account payable)
- Perform data entry into computer system.
- Audit, analyzes, and verifies purchase order and vendor invoice and check request for accuracy.
- Prepare billing statements, sales invoice, official receipt, delivery receipt to clients.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of files/documents/remittances in compliance with government requirements.
- Reconcile accounts as at when due.
- Investigate and restore document or accounting discrepancies and problems.
- Perform other duties as maybe assigned from time to time as instructed by immediate superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience in related field
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
