Job Description
We are looking for Junior Chef who is a nature lover for island assignment. The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our costumer's satisfaction.
- Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
- Procedure high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Comply with and enforce sanitation standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and costumers
Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be appreciated
- 6 months to 2 years of experience
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures (Filipino, Asian and International Cuisine)
- Familiar with industry's best practices
