Assistant Supply Chain Manager  

This position is responsible for the planning and managing the supply of inventory required for the operational part of the business.

• Determine supply chain requirements from the marketing plan and from analyzing product flows.
• Plans for appropriate storage of products and ensures that appropriate supplies and stock levels are maintained to meet usage targets, both within cost restraints and consistent with suppliers’ lead times.
• Provides logistics and consumer service support to business unit.
• Ensure that specific supply chain service-level policies, procedures, and metrics are implemented across the various functions.
• Responsible for the logistics budget and controlling costs associated with transportation and supply chain.
• Ensures that imported goods inventory decisions are effectively coordinated and that customers receive goods in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
• Supports the management team within the business by providing customer feedback, satisfaction survey results, reports on specific issues, customers, products
• Responsible for the implementation and management of projects and requirements relating to logistics, customs and FDA registrations and laws.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable domestic and international regulatory bodies and participates in industry events.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in supply chain operations
• Knowledge of supply chain/accounting systems preferably JD Edwards / Hyperion systems
• Excellent command of MS Office
• Good presentation skills
