Job Description

WORK SCOPE:
• Provide leadership and overall management in strategy, people, and process with regards to the Sales and
Marketing function.
• Primarily responsible for building and growing the brand reach and corporate sales of all food groups.
• Responsible for working with the Managing Director and the Management Committee in building the Strategic Plan for the company

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
 Hone and create a strong brand presence for the existing food brands of the company
 Continually assess existing marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales
 Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market,
competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business;
establishing targeted market share.
 Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on
market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
 Developing and executing the short, medium and long-term strategy and vision for the sales and
marketing organization
 Building excellence in sales and marketing so as to drive growth of products and grow faster than the
market.
 Taps and explores possible channels in expanding out-of-the-store sales via corporate partnerships
and pushes a yearly growth of corporate sales
 Analyzes market place and anticipates future changes to create competitive advantage in brand
benefits and communication of these benefits to a broad audience
 Stay up-to-date on current market trends that would have an impact on the business
 Leads and ensures creative strategies to build quality brand plans and brand awareness to increase
market share’
 Combine data, insight and intuition to identify the company’s business opportunities for a long term
horizon. Shape sales and marketing strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
 Manages and delivers P & L, setting ambitious targets to drive sales and profit goals while managing
limited financial and human resource

 Driving performance on the annual operating plan and budgets consistent with the Company’s long-
term strategies

 Setting sales and marketing KPI’s to manage activity within the team.
 Creating, motivating, developing and retaining a high-quality sale and marketing team.
 Establishing a culture that promotes ethical practice, integrity, social responsibility and company
compliance.
 Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
 Ensures alignment of sales and marketing activities with the internal and external clients
 Provides the policies and procedures for managing the communication with external partners
External Relationships

 Builds and maintains strong relationships and networks in order to create positive impact on the
business
 Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating
new opportunities.

2. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports directly to the Managing Director or Operations Director
 collaborates with the Operations Manager
 Handles the marketing associates

Minimum Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

1. EDUCATION: Graduate of Marketing, Management or related, MBA is an advantage

2. SKILLS

• At least 5 years marketing experience in the food industry

• 3 years or marketing experience

• Must have Adept knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point

• Must be fluent in English Verbal & Written and Intermediate in Tagalog Verbal & Written

• Well versed in all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, twitter & etc)

• Proven track record to innovate and implement change successfully

• Up-to-date with modern marketing techniques and food trends

• Knowledge in graphic design and Lightroom/photoshop is an advantage

• Projected ROI vs cost of rolled out projects (Cost effectiveness) 2. Business & Strategic planning Effectiveness

• Effective campaigns and marketing activities created and rolled out for the year

• Achievement of Marketing calendar/goals

• Marketing solutions offered and created for the brand (paraphernalia, promotions, product highlights & etc)

• Numbers or market research conducted and accuracy of translation 3. Performance Management

• Efficiency and productivity rate of marketing associates

• Development of Marketing Associates

• Conducts timely performance evaluations and coaching 4. Brand building (Temporary KPI)

• Effectiveness of Brand Recognition

• Effectiveness of brand preference based on brand image

• Creation of distinct brand image and retention to consumers
