Job Description
Your mission:
- Work with the engineering team to ingest and transform data and guarantee high level of data quality and consistency. This imply a deep understanding of the data we are manipulating and building up domain experience to quickly identify problems.
- Understand business problem and find creative, scalable, automated, solution.
- Work with the engineering team to deploy developed solution in production
- Scrape retail websites and store data in redshift. Websites will be in different languages.
- Run text matching to identify identical products across multiple websites.
- Run price comparisons across a variety of attributes to draw conclusions
- Bonus: do google search trends correspond to products in store?
Minimum Qualifications
Profile summary:
- Redshift, ETLs
- Python/SQL skills for data massaging, familiarity with AWS is a plus. R is nice and we embrace it for prototyping.
- Machine Learning, both supervised and unsupervised.
- Good communication skills.
- Diplomas are not required, provided you can prove your talent some other way. Some CS background expected.
- We are hiring contractors for the following project, but we will only consider candidates who want to join us full time in Singapore.
