Startup FinTech firm focused on bringing blockchain and cryptocurrencies to the Philippine market, seeking interns to join our growing team!

The Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX) was founded in 2017 by friends passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrency. The founders have finance and technology backgrounds with experience working at Goldman Sachs, Samsung, and HSBC (just to name a few).

Based in Metro Manila (BGC), PDAX is a VC-Backed Series A FinTech startup launching an order-book exchange to offer Filipinos fair access to the top cryptocurrencies and other digital assets for the first time. By leveraging technology used by global stock exchanges like the NYSE and PSE to match buyers and sellers, PDAX allows investors to trade with the Philippine Peso at globally competitive prices in real-time, resulting in a cheaper, safer, and more efficient channel to buy, sell, and trade digital assets.

As one of the first blockchain companies entering the Filipino market, we feel a sense of responsibility to our users and to the blockchain ecosystem to set the precedent for user experience, functionality, and compliance. What you'll be doing:

• Understand new features and enhancements and participate in design reviews
• Define test methodology and detailed test plans based on the requirements and features
• Create test scripts based on the provided requirement and specifications
• Execute test scripts during test cycles with agreed upon schedule
• Ensure development team delivers testable high-quality code
• Automate QA test flows and regression test runs using automation frameworks
• Analyze failures and help in determining root cause
• Drive bug tracking and resolution
• Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks, and issues
• Assist in the improvement of overall QA process

Front-End QA Engineer:

• Required Skill(s): White, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Has experience in test automation suite using Selenium 2 and Robot Framework
• Javascript test automation using Cypress is a plus
• Reporting bugs accurately and concisely, and timely follow up to resolution
• Render user acceptance testing support
• Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks & issues

Back-End Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET):

• Proficient in developing test cases and implementing testing methodologies
• Establish best practices for unit testing, functional testing, and automated testing
• Experience in working with the following:
  • interfacing with REST APIs o relational databases such as PSQL
  • version control systems such as Git
  • Bug reporting tool such as JIRA
  • Experience in using Rest-Assured (http://rest-assured.io/) or similar tool.
  • Build and maintain automated test infrastructure and automation test
  • Integrate with existing infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycles
  • Establish processes and tool sets to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
• GREAT to have:
  • Background in FinTech, especially on trading or order book exchange
  • Experience in Docker.
