Job Description
- Plans and directly installs, tests, monitors, maintains, and repairs facility items within the plant.
- Handles all the coordination and supervision of projects and policies.
- Contributes to the Management of future businesses and relevant advanced technical consultation.
- Manages the Facility department, resources, and systems to ensure the company maintains excellent running equipment and fleet at all times.
- Ensures that all staff undertakes their duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Delivers all the requirements of Company policies, in particular,those designed to improve people performance and engagement.
- Reports to Manufacturing Director and ensure that the necessary resources are allocated to meet departmental requirements and standards are in order to provide excellent levels of customer service at all times.
- Applies continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability or cost-effectiveness.
- Prepares documentation for new facility processes and procedures. On-call 24 hours for the whole facility within the plant particular on lightings; water system; electrical supply system; plumbing; fixture maintenance; generators; painting jobs; etc.
- Recommends methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.
- Coordinates quality control objectives and activities to resolve facility problems, maximize efficiency and reliability of all company items and assets and minimize cost.
- Confers with vendors staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
- Estimates costs and effect of facility maintenance for management review, action, and control.
- Coordinates and directs projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Performs administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
- Prepares budgets, expenses, costings, quotations, contracts and direct the negation of Engineering contracts. Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
- Sets technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
