Job Description
Kalibrr is looking for a data engineer to help us take advantage of our data by designing and maintaining our data warehouse, and connecting it to business dashboards, JIRA, and our internal data science tools.
You'll be ingesting data from our own platform, external analytics, our CRM, and other tools that we use. You'll be using modern tooling to do this -- DataFlow, Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and more. You'll then integrate this with our internal tools and make it available to our data science team. While doing this, you may find ways to help our teams by making dashboards or other tools to help them make better, faster decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year work experience in a software engineering role
- Can write normalized and denormalized schemas, and query from them efficiently
- Good communication skills, as you'll be interacting with both your fellow developers and stakeholders from other departments
- Initiative and problem solving skills, as you'll be listening to the desires of data science and business stakeholders, and supporting them in their roles -- sometimes in ways they may not have known they wanted
Nice to have:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, in particular:
- Dataflow
- BigQuery
- Cloud Pub/Sub
- GCE/GKE
- Data Studio
- Experience in Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Shark, Dryad, or data processing technologies
- Experience in designing and implementing business intelligence dashboards for strategic and tactical purposes
- Experience in integrating data to and from JIRA, Intercom, and other business tools.
- Experience working with data on the order of 100 GB or more
