Job Description
To take a leadership role within the Manila Product Control finance capability by supporting both the business' management reporting requirements for the Global and Regional stakeholders, as well as managing the controls and financial discipline around revenue recognition, revenue sharing, reconciliation of daily reporting to monthly reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Responsibilities are as follows but are not limited to:

Management and oversight of the timely production of the daily, monthly and quarterly discharges in relation to the Product Control key controls.

Provide quality business finance support and be a key finance contact to all Front Office senior members of the business.

Build collaborative relationships with business partners (FO, Operations) and other key stakeholders in order to understand their information requirements.

Working closely with each of the team managers, Front Office and New Business to support business expansion as well as liaising with various groups within the bank relating ongoing change initiatives.

Accountable for seeking improvements on the quality of all work produced and ensuring that the enhancements identified provide a positive and meaningful benefit to Product Control.

Ensure proactive and constant communication with the Markets Finance IT and Projects teams to be able to drive departmental productivity initiatives, coordination of the delivery on the PC components of major CFO initiatives, and ensuring that the team’s issues and initiatives are prioritised and synchronised on the book of work.

Strong management skills in order to provide leadership to the team on a day to day basis, providing guidance and advice on solving different sets of issues, such as the implementation of New Business or the implementation of a new system such as the Odyssey and SKY Projects. Careful planning/management of resources, taking charge of change, and knowledge training will be critical to success.

Strong relationship building skills are required in this role, spanning numerous geographies.

Minimum Qualifications
- University graduate degree in Finance or Accounting
- Understanding of complex derivatives and Financial Markets
- Product Control Experience (6+ years) and other relevant finance experience (4+ years)
- Sound knowledge of accounting achieved either through holding a professional accounting qualification, or through appropriate studies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
