Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for leading the marketing organization through focus on B2B enterprise marketing and B2C jobseeker marketing to support the company’s rapid growth.
S/he will oversee advertising, awareness, branding, creative services, corporate messaging, lead generation, product marketing, PR, internally- and externally-produced corporate visibility-building events and web marketing across owned, earned and paid channels.
This individual must have the expertise to lead international marketing and communications efforts to elevate Kalibrr’s brand awareness and positioning existing, and deepen the understanding of hiring and career development best practices amongst our community.
The VP of Marketing will work with country marketing leaders to influence and implement the Kalibrr marketing and brand strategy, as well as with stakeholders from product groups and functional organizations across the company that rely on global marketing services and expertise.
This leader will define, implement and measure strategic, global marketing initiatives that build awareness and consideration for the brand, and provide air cover for ongoing marketing and sales efforts. S/he will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing guidance and insights on core matters.
Position Responsibilities
Build, develop and retain a high-impact, results-oriented global team direct and matrix which will steward and manage the brand and marketing globally and cross-functionally
Provide executive leadership of marketing, PR, brand and creative teams, pushing boundaries to deliver innovative marketing solutions coupled with flawless execution
Present a relevant and differentiated global brand and ensure consistent stewardship as appropriate in areas of direct and indirect ownership including events, web properties, media and analyst relations, executive speaking opportunities, thought leadership, as well as employee- and community-relations
Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s reach through strong value propositions and differentiators for each target audience which are incorporated in a holistic way into sales messaging, omnichannel marketing, trade shows, events, thought leadership, Public Relations and tracking of outcomes
Focus on developing B2B marketing core competence of the organization through best practices, talent development while optimizing enterprise marketing strategy
Take a leadership role in establishing a collaborative partnership with the Commercial team to ensure alignment between sales and marketing across messaging, tools, and collateral
Manage AR and PR relationships globally and guide relevant topical press coverage for the company and external thought leadership placements for key executives.
Partner with global and country level marketing and human resources functions in order to project consistent corporate messages to internal and external stakeholders
Create multi-touch external marketing opportunities to deliver Kalibrr key messaging and drive awareness
Manage owned, earned and paid outlets including Kalibrr.com on a day-to-day basis ensuring it becomes best-in-class among peer group Saas companies
Manage the interface with external agencies including but not limited to PR, advertising, branding, creative services, events, web and mobile
Build scalable partner marketing programs that provide partners with the tools and knowledge required to represent Kalibrr as effectively as its own sales executives
Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with key influencers, industry thought leaders, customers, prospective customers, and critical strategic partners
Develop and manage the company’s global marketing budget with oversight on country marketing budget as well
Instill best practices marketing processes including the identification and implementation of key measurements and KPIs to demonstrate marketing effectiveness and ROI, delivering accountability and transparency in reporting across the organization
Minimum Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience in technology marketing. At least 5 years in a high-growth enterprise technology/SaaS company with direct responsibility for corporate marketing strategy and execution
Track record of success in corporate marketing at a high growth technology company with multiple product lines, regions and distribution channels
Experience leading the development of exciting and effective awareness and brand marketing campaigns that influence CxO buyers in particular, utilizing the talents of a cross-functional group of directly-managed and influenced resources to achieve success and market impact
Track record of evolving a brands position to a new market category that aligns it with current market and customer priorities
