Front End Engineer  

This is a great opportunity for talented and hard-working Front End Engineer to join and build cloud services for users of the world’s best-selling mobile devices. The Samsung Mobile Cloud Services Team is focused on the rapid development of cloud-based services for Samsung Pay and KNOX.

The Cloud Platform group is looking for world class server software engineers to join our technology innovation group focused on the rapid development of cloud based end-to-end mobile applications and services. This is an exciting area for Samsung: Cloud based service platforms and infrastructure to support mobility.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop dashboards and visualization solutions for the services related to Samsung Pay Business Intelligence system
• Ability to create custom UI components
• Work with business and product stakeholders to identify requirements and expected deliverables
• Work with technical leaders and engineers inside Samsung
• Investigate technologies and propose technology recommendations
• Create quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts

• BS, MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Masters preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Hands-on experience in D3, Qlik, Tableau or similar visualization tools and frameworks
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Proficient in Responsive CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap, Ionic, Foundation, etc)
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient in SQL skills
