Technical Marketing Writer  

The Technical Marketing Writer creates content aligned to specific marketing strategies and campaigns that will market the following: company products, expertise, and services. Specifically, the Technical Marketing Writer will work as part of a team of marketers/campaign leaders, other writers, editors, and graphic artists, and will take on the following responsibilities.

• Promote security intelligence platform as the company’s center for security expertise by coming up with marketing content that highlight both real-time threat discoveries and long-term research
• Create various marketing assets – such as blog entries, infographics, feature articles, data reports, datasheets, and marketing kits – that discuss recent malware and security incidents, threat trends, core technologies, and products that protect users from said threats
• Formulate and drive security stories that complement the campaigns and other marketing activities of global and regional marketing groups
• Coordinate with local and overseas teams in the organization to gather technical details about threats, data indicators, and solutions

• At least five (5) year’s experience in writing marketing collaterals
• At least three (3) year’s experience in editing/copyediting
• At least two (2) year’s experience in web content writing
• Strong creative writing skills in English required, strong technical writing skills
• Project management experience with coordination skills is a plus
• High interest and proficiency in computing, the Web, and surrounding technologies
• Knowledge in HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign is an advantage
• Creative, and ability to express ideas with confidence is a plus
• College degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Arts)
