Job Description
- Take overall charge of institutional and special purchases for the company.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Process approvals, orders, and payments.
- Perform other related tasks assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least Bachelor's/College Degree Engineering or Research & Development Management.
- At least 5-years of work experience in the Purchasing and/or Research and Development.
- Managed at least a minimum of three in a team.
- Preferably an Assistant Manager/Manager specializing in Purchasing/Supply Chain or its equivalent.
- Preferably with systems background for forecasting demand, supply, and inventory management.
- Adequate background in quality control, product accrediting, and or supply chain systems.
- Proven networking and sourcing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Highly organized.
- Able to secure recommendations on good character.
