Job Description
We are looking for Network Engineers to join our circuit design team. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design all DSx, Message/E911 trunking, OCx, SONET and DWDM Circuits associated with all Customer and Network Orders
- Maintain all client Network systems associated with SONET, DWDM and Optical networks and circuits
- Learn and understand the manufacturer's technical guidelines and provisioning methods for deployed network elements within the client’s Network
- Provide technical assistance to customers and to field technicians on various design services
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working in telecommunications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Knowledge of special service equipment, network connections and general telephony hierarchy
- Knowledge of TL1 commands
- Knowledge of SONET network element provisioning
- Knowledge of one or more of the following types of equipment: Ciena, Fuitsu, Adtran, Actelis, Cyan, Optra, and/or Calix
