Treasury Services (TS) - the world's largest cash management provider - moves, concentrates and invests client money, and provides trade finance solutions. TS products include payments, collections, trade finance, liquidity management solutions and information services that help companies manage working capital and liquidity.
We are currently looking for a Due Diligence (DD) Writer in J.P. Morgan Treasury Services (TS) Global Proposal Solutions Group. The DD Writer will be responsible for responding to DD questionnaires from existing clients. The role requires excellent oral and written communication skills. In addition, the role entails the development of effective working relationships with Product and Sales teams, and other stakeholders in various global locations. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines is critical to the role.
The role comprises:
- Gain a broad knowledge of the range of products and services provided by TS and J.P. Morgan.
- Compose original DD responses and amending existing responses in order to address clients' queries.
- Liaise with the TS Product, Sales, Client Service, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Manage DD projects to completion, including responsibility for production of the final document and supplementary material.
- Respond to ad hoc information requests from the sales team and wider client service community.
- Develop effective working relationships with key internal clients, including product, sales, client management, and operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- College degree (BA or BS) required, preferably with a business, economics, and/or finance background.
- Experience of a similar role in sales support / e.g. financial writer or a role that has required some degree of report writing.
- Knowledgeable of Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management.
- Knowledge and awareness of the banking industry, financial markets, and general understanding of financial instruments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent written English, particularly business and technical writing skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills are also essential
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Reasonable proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Project Management skills.
- Capacity to act as a team player, combined with the ability to work on own initiative in terms of organisation and prioritising.
- Ability to pay rigorous attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and occasionally to tight deadlines.
