Summary:
To design and transform user requirements into application programs and work on highly complex projects for IT automation/data processing systems; to assist in the evaluation of business problems and development and system development projects with the objective to provide information system solutions for company internal users or customers.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, MIS or related discipline with accredited institution of higher learning
Experience:
- Systems Analyst
- Four (4) years professional experience in business process or software design and development.
- Senior Systems Analyst
- Five (5) years professional experience in business process or software design and development.
Technical/Skillset Expertise
- Mandatory to be on-call standby 24/7 support and experienced in application support
- Mandatory proficient skills in analysis and transform business requirement to technical deliverables.
- Mandatory proficient skills in programming languages specifically in
- Shell Scripting
- AWK Programing
- SQL-Plus
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Knowledge in barcode printer programming language (Zebra & Sato)
- Java Programming
- JavaScript/HTML/CSS
- Must be very comfortable to work in both Linux and MS Windows.
- Must possess program troubleshooting and analysis skills
- Exhibit knowledge of working with government/regulatory bodies/Customs/Airlines Cargo Operators
- Basic documentation skills and able to use Microsoft Word and Visio for software design
- Good to have working knowledge of UNIEDIFACT/XML/Cargo Imp for logistic related EDI integration
- Good to have knowledge of Intermec scanners’/label printers and for warehouse scanning and tracking
- Good to have knowledge of source code control system for example, CVS and SVN
- Good to have working knowledge of continuous integration system for example Hudson, Jenkins
- Knowledge of the SDLC model and able to appreciate the different stages of life cycle
Applicants must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig.
