Job Description
- Supervising and facilitating direct reports
- Processing of accident and loss reports
- Processing of repair and parts invoices
- Appointing assessors and settling third party claims
- Correspondence with customers and third parties
- Invoicing and collecting reimbursement of repair costs from third parties and insurers
- Negotiating settlements from third parties
- Instituting recovery action against third parties via solicitors and debt collection companies
- Creating and distributing monthly reports to Management on claims statistics and status of receivables
- Liaison with legal advisors on:
- Ongoing status of major claims
- Updates on external factors affecting insurance procedures or recoveries
- Assisting other departments with insurance and Damage Claims terminology when updating or drafting brochures, agreements terms and conditions etc.
- Targeting problems, amending or introducing systems and procedures to streamline efficiencies.
- Fully complying with all company Health and Safety requirements, including reporting all accidents, near accidents, and hazards.
- Coordinating with IC on claims matter.
- Any other tasks assigned by company management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- At least 7 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): excellent communication skills, customer service skills
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
- Ability to work with Computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and leadership skills
