Bookkeeper/Accountant  

Essential Job Functions:

Full Charge Bookkeeping, 50%

• Manage bookkeeping and email correspondence for JK Commerce Inc
• Manage invoicing and Accounts Receivable
• Manage Accounts Payable
• Weekly and monthly reporting using Quickbooks and Excel
• Year-end close-out and coordination with Auditor/CPA

General Administration, 35%

• Manage payroll
• Manage BIR requirements and payments
• Prepare and maintain customer files
• Manage office supplies and inventory
• Filing and general organization of information and reference materials
• Assist in creating new organizational systems
• Assist Owner as needed
• Send quotations to potential clients

Marketing and Customer Service, 15%

• Regularly update and respond to messages on social media accounts like Facebook
• Answer and tend to customer inquiries and complaints

• College degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or related
• 2-3 years relevant bookkeeping or accountancy related experience
• Extremely proficient in Excel, Word, and accounting software such as Quickbooks Pro
• Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
• Can adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Can work independently and manage time effectively
• Able to communicate effectively and in a healthy manner
• Able to receive and give constructive criticism in a non-confrontational manner
